Responsibilities

Develop and maintain AWS configuration standards and governance
Build and manage Terraform-based IaC modules for provisioning and automation (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, ACM)
Manage multi‑environment consistency across Dev, Test, Stage, and Prod
Support CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline
Execute deployments, rollbacks, configuration updates, and environment validation
Design automated AWS backup strategies aligned with state retention requirements
Implement automated patching workflows for cloud infrastructure
Perform periodic audits of patch levels, configuration baselines, backups, and certificate compliance
Oversee SSL/TLS certificate installation, renewal, rotation, and validation
Ensure secure communication across all AWS-hosted services
Maintain clear documentation for IaC modules, standards, and environment changes
Train and mentor teams on Terraform, AWS best practices, backup and patching automation, and certificate governance

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
8+ years in configuration management with Terraform & IaC expertise
AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, ACM)
Cloud backup/policy‑driven patch automation
SSL/TLS certificate management & security standards
Work with DevOps, Security & Infra teams - 7+ years
Terraform IaC development - 3+ years
AWS Code Suite (CodeCommit/Build/Deploy/Pipeline) - 7+ years
Automated AWS backup & patching solutions - 7+ years
SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management - 7+ years
Documentation of IaC standards & environment baselines - 3+ years
Training/guidance on Terraform & AWS best practices - 3+ years

Preferred

Scripting experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
AWS and/or Terraform certifications
Government or public-sector experience
Vendor coordination experience
Familiarity with Agile methods and project tools
Exposure to organizational change management (OCM)
