Quality Engineer

EPITEC is seeking a Quality Engineer to provide quality planning, control, and improvement support across various operations. Responsibilities

Use quality tools and practices to establish approval criteria and ensure quality concerns are identified early
Investigate product and process-related quality issues by collecting and analyzing data, identifying root causes, and coordinating corrective actions
Provide work direction to inspectors on containment activities, quality procedures, and critical process monitoring
Facilitate discussions with internal and external stakeholders to drive corrective and preventive action
Prepare monthly quality metrics reports and participate in management review discussions
Support identification and execution of Continuous Improvement (CI) projects
Contribute to defining methods, process steps, equipment, and tooling required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes
Support development of engineering solutions and design validation through feasibility and testing plans
Assist in drafting engineering standards, specifications, and evaluating standard effectiveness under guidance of senior engineers
Perform inspections to assess installation integrity and compliance with technical and regulatory requirements; provide recommendations for corrective work
Coordinate activities with subcontractors and suppliers, acting as a primary quality point of contact within established contract plans
Support supplier root cause analysis and corrective action efforts
Identify process, system, or procedural gaps and apply change management processes to support improvement
Support knowledge management systems and assist others in effectively using available tools
Contribute to product development and engineering activities by analyzing customer needs and supporting defined product requirements
Execute project tasks within an established project management plan to achieve deliverables and quality objectives
Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and assessment activities to strengthen skills and capabilities
Maintain awareness of industry trends, regulations, technologies, and best practices through continuous learning
