Responsibilities
Designing new data creation strategies to teach models personalization. This involves generating high-quality synthetic examples of user context, and building scalable pipelines to curate and augment training sets
Improving quality of models for personalization and understanding user intent. This includes research to leverage complex user context (such as long context and user instructions), better techniques for personalized response generation, and improving alignment with individual user preferences
Better evaluation methods (human, auto raters) to measure the quality and effectiveness of personalization and open-ended questions
Qualification
Required
PhD in Computer Science, or Machine Learning related field
Experience working with LLMs
Experience in one or more of the following areas: personalization, recommender systems, user modeling, retrieval augmented generation, long context modeling, or natural language understanding
Preferred
A strong record of publications in top-tier machine-learning related conferences
Expertise in reinforcement learning
