Human Resources Business Partner
Responsibilities
Serve as the go‑to HR partner for manufacturing leadership across all 3 shifts
Walk the production floor regularly and stay closely connected to supervisors, team leads, and operators
Coach shift supervisors in a non‑union environment; support newer leaders who need development
Lead employee relations efforts: conflict resolution, documentation, investigations, and performance conversations
Handle compliance: OSHA, wage & hour, overtime rules, accommodations, return‑to‑work, and general labor laws
Tackle turnover—conduct exit interviews, identify patterns, and drive changes
Use metrics and analytics to influence leadership and push back when necessary
Partner on workforce planning: scheduling, shift coverage, hiring alignment, and production support
Support safety initiatives, training, onboarding, and continuous improvement efforts
Work cross‑functionally on leave management, workers’ comp, and policy questions
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of HR business experience in a manufacturing environment
Production‑based experience required
Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
Strong experience with ER, compliance, safety, and coaching frontline leaders
Comfort moving between shifts and building relationships on the floor
Analytical mindset—comfortable pulling data, spotting trends, and making the case for change
Experience with turnover analysis and engagement/retention tactics
Knowledge of OSHA, OT rules, wage laws, and RTW processes
HRIS experience (UKG or Oracle a plus—but any HRIS background works)
Preferred
Bilingual Spanish a strong plus
