Responsibilities
Develop and maintain financial models, including pro formas, multi‑year forecasts, and scenario analyses
Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for the COO, CEO and Board of Directors
Analyze store‑level performance, labor efficiency, food cost trends, and unit economics
Support strategic initiatives such as new store openings, market expansion, menu pricing, and capital planning
Provide insights and recommendations to drive profitability and operational efficiency
Serve as the internal owner of the accounting function while coordinating daily accounting activities with Dine Technologies
Oversee month‑end close, financial statements, and compliance reviews
Implement and refine internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes
Manage cash flow, and banking relationships
Support tax, audit, and regulatory requirements in partnership with external providers
Build scalable systems and processes to support rapid growth and multi‑unit operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
7+ years of progressive experience in accounting and FP&A, ideally within QSR, hospitality, retail, or multi‑unit environments
Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills
Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast‑growing, entrepreneurial environment
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to senior leadership and the Board
Demonstrated leadership potential and desire to grow into a CFO role
Preferred
CPA or MBA preferred
Experience working with outsourced accounting providers is a plus
