Senior Manager Financial Planning Analysis
Fahrenheit Advisors is assisting a client in finding a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis. This leadership role involves partnering with senior finance leadership to drive financial rigor and operational insight, while enhancing financial models and reporting processes to support growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management and investor reporting packages, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and proactive communication around performance trends and key metrics
Develop and enhance customer, product, and channel-level profitability analyses to identify margin improvement opportunities and support pricing and commercial decision-making
Lead analytical efforts focused on inventory efficiency, receivables performance, and vendor terms to optimize liquidity and free cash flow
Maintain rolling forecasts and short-term cash flow models, identify drivers of variance, and recommend timely corrective actions
Support financial due diligence and post-close integration activities for acquisitions, including consolidation of reporting, systems alignment, and process standardization
Act as a trusted financial advisor to operational leaders, facilitating regular performance reviews, cost discipline, and capital allocation decisions
Drive enhancements to financial tools, reporting infrastructure, and ERP capabilities to support scalability and data integrity
Qualification
Required
7–10 years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, or related roles
Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities are required, including complex scenario modeling and integrated financial statements
Strong understanding of unit economics in operational or distribution-oriented businesses, including cost drivers and margin dynamics
Ability to perform effectively in a deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities and limited structure
Proven ability to distill complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives for senior leaders and cross-functional partners
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Preferred
Experience in private equity–backed, transactional, or fast-growth environments is strongly preferred
Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus
