Responsibilities
Own daily accounting in QuickBooks Online
Manage AP/AR , expense processes, and account reconciliations
Lead the monthly close , produce financial statements, and track COGS
Support multi-entity accounting across U.S. and EU operations
Partner with Operations on inventory , manufacturing costs , and waste tracking
Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting
Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain accurate internal controls
Coordinate and support audit preparation and deliverables
Qualification
Required
3–6+ years of accounting experience (Senior Accountant level)
Strong foundation in financial reporting, general ledger, and close
Working knowledge of GAAP and compliance best practices
Comfortable with financial analysis, forecasting, and building clarity from data
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online; familiarity with ERP tools/Microsoft 365 a plus
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, clean models)
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize in a fast-moving environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or related); CPA preferred
Preferred
Experience in manufacturing/production, inventory accounting, or cost accounting
Multi-currency and international transaction exposure
Experience in sustainability-focused or environmentally conscious industries
