Business Systems Analyst

They are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support enterprise account reconciliations processes and applications, particularly focused on the Blackline application and its technologies, while also enhancing user experience and automation processes.

Responsibilities
Develop detailed knowledge and understanding of account reconciliation, journal entry, and matching processes across Koch; translating that knowledge into the optimization of Blackline and other record-to-report applications
Critically think through Blackline and customer processes and dependencies
Support, maintain, and monitor Blackline and supporting systems for a global user base
Responsible for understanding impacts of releases, patches, integrations, and system updates; Test and validate new system releases and functionality, communicating effectively with customers on changes, and creating documentation when applicable
Responsible for administrative needs for the overall system including security, users, configuration, integrations, and master reference data
Connect with the global account reconciliations team and stakeholders to develop and maintain strong working relationships, optimize value, and internalize business strategies that support Koch Capabilities vision. Actively listen and anticipate customers’ future needs and incorporate into team strategies and priorities
Partner with product team, global customers, vendors, third party consultants, and IT teams to transform, implement technology solutions and lead projects that drive enhancements, efficiencies, and automation
Have courage to challenge, escalate, embrace teamwork, work independently, be inclusive with differing cultures/opinions, be reliable and trustworthy
Qualification
Required
Experience engaging with customers through soliciting, capturing, and critically thinking through requirements
Experience with account reconciliations and financial close processes and software as an end user or administrator
Experience using data to understand business needs, efficiently convert requests into actionable assignments, and solve business needs while using good economic thinking
Analytical experience, specifically around having a curiosity mindset and asking good questions to dig deep into business processes to define solutions
Experience managing, prioritizing, and working simultaneously across multiple issues and concurrent projects
Experience providing reasonable customer communications about delivery dates, updates and managing expectations
Preferred
Participating in financial close and account reconciliations processes. If you are an accountant wanting to move beyond month-end close processes, this is a great opportunity
Experience implementing and/or supporting enterprise ERP or other large-scale projects, specifically in the accounting and finance area
Experience influencing and challenging peers and stakeholders to drive to common goals and solutions
Experience partnering with global end users
Experience working in Agile based methodology (Kanban, SCRUM)
Experience with ITBM ServiceNow, Snowflake, PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, data lakes
