Responsibilities

Serve as the primary relationship manager for fund administrators and third-party lenders
Provide daily operational support to fund operations, deal teams, and business partners
Assist in the ongoing management of multiple middle-market direct lending products (e.g., CLO, BDC)
Support transaction execution by tracking upcoming deal closings and managing the funding and hedging process
Review and validate closing documentation, including credit agreements, funding memos, and wire instructions
Ensure all trade and funding details are accurately captured in internal systems prior to settlement
Approve and review accurate trade booking, new loan setup, and reconciliation of cash discrepancies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Wall Street Office or equivalent loan servicing platforms
Navigate complex settlement activities with borrowers and the banking community
Manage daily production including cash forecasting and positioning
Ensure timely review and release of deal funding wires in alignment with standard operating procedures
Support system enhancements and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk
Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment

Required

Bachelor undergraduate degree and 5+ years in the banking and financial services industry
Familiarity with loan closing and servicing processes
Strong attention to detail
Strong PC skills, including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple assignments and changing priorities
Critical thinking and problem-solving experience
Ability to convey sense of urgency and to work productively with both internal and external business partners

Preferred

Previous exposure with direct lending and private credit funds
Knowledge of Wall Street Office or other middle office systems
