Responsibilities
Lead negotiations, manage renewals, and ensure compliance with licensing agreements
Oversee budgeting and forecasting for IT software, driving cost efficiency and financial alignment
Develop and implement IT purchasing policies and asset management best practices
Maintain entitlement records, license agreements, and maintenance contracts with precision
Qualification
Required
Bachelors' degree in Information Technology or related field
AND two (2) years' of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience for IT Asset & Software Licensing Analyst II
Requires working technical knowledge gained through experience within a job area or system

AND five (5) years of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience for IT Asset & Software Licensing Analyst, Senior
Requires strong technical knowledge within a job area or system and basic knowledge across related technical areas
Strategic Negotiation – Proven experience securing favorable software agreements and ensuring licensing compliance
Financial & Business Acumen – Ability to forecast IT asset expenditures and optimize software investments
Process Optimization – Experience standardizing IT purchasing and asset management procedures at an enterprise level
Executive-Level Communication – Ability to engage with leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams with clarity and influence
Preferred
Familiarity with ServiceNow Software Asset Management
Software Asset Manager Certification
Knowledge of technology asset life cycle management processes and supporting tools and services
Understanding of IT business continuity, cybersecurity, integrated risk management and optimization methodologies as they apply to technology contracts
Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Financial and Budget Acumen
Demonstrated contract negotiation skills
