Responsibilities

Program automated manufacturing and test equipment
Develop, Implement, Maintain and Improve Process and Test Equipment
Develop, Implement, Maintain and Improve Manufacturing and Test Processes
Develop, Implement, Maintain and Improve Fixtures and Tooling
Develop and update documents such as assembly instructions, SOP’s, fixture and tooling drawings
Daily yield monitoring with root cause analysis of failures and implementation of corrective actions
Perform capacity and throughput analysis to identify operation bottlenecks and reduce manufacturing times
Active involvement in weekly cross functional team meetings to: Drive yield improvements, Reduce scrap, Maintain production schedules and deliverables, Ensure safety and workplace organization through 6S activities, Improve production efficiencies
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) to ensure manufacturability
Provide training to production operators/technicians

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics or Materials Science
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
Understanding and prior use of statistical analysis of data
Prior experience leading improvement or development projects
Effective verbal and written communication skills with individuals at all levels of an organization
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with changing schedules and priorities
Strong attention to detail and mistake proofing (Poka-yoke)

Preferred

Engineering experience supporting manufacturing operations
Prior experience developing technical documentation (SOP's, work instructions, etc)
Prior utilization of statistical software such as Minitab, JMP and Tableau
Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts
CAD (Solidworks or similar) experience
