Software & Data Quality Assurance - Intern
The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is the only nationally recognized certification organization for physician assistants. They are seeking an intern to contribute to the accurate testing of software programs against design specifications and user requirements, as well as to analyze test results and participate in design review meetings.

Responsibilities
Create test plans based on project and application requirements
Execute functional and regression test cases manually and with automated scripts
Analyze test results for validity, clarity, and completeness
Participate in design review meetings and defect triage meetings
Assist with user acceptance testing
Help determine if stories and their acceptance criteria are well defined and if they satisfy customer requirements
Work with the software development team to identify and resolve defects identified by QA and system users
Provide timely and effective communication and resolution with QA and developers on product issues
Demonstrate knowledge and ability to learn system testing best practices and methodologies
Participate in design reviews and functional walk through of application development projects
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or other related technology field
Rising junior, senior, or recent college graduate
Ability to create test plans based on project and application requirements
Ability to execute functional and regression test cases manually and with automated scripts
Ability to analyze test results for validity, clarity, and completeness
Participation in design review meetings and defect triage meetings
Assistance with user acceptance testing
Ability to help determine if stories and their acceptance criteria are well defined and if they satisfy customer requirements
