Responsibilities
Lead the Support Team customer interface with the NAVAIR APML organization
Ensure systems, processes and controls are in place to effectively manage support in an Integrated Product Development environment
Identify ILS related risks, conduct risk assessments, and establish applicable closure
Identify and incorporate design features that minimize support requirements and lower NAVAIR life cycle costs
Analyzes support impacts to ensure supportability is designed into the system, recommended engineering change proposals, and documents
Attend Engineering Change Boards and provide Logistical decisions which impact support
Organize and participate in technical coordination meetings, ILS reviews, IPT coordination meetings and design reviews
Support On-Time Delivery (OTD) tracking/managing for ILS products
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in military Avionics/Mission Systems repair and/or modifications
3 + years of experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for a defense platform (e.g.) has experience with one or more of the following: Technical Publications, Support Equipment, Training, Maintenance Planning, Facilities & Infrastructure, Retrofit, Provisioning, Supply Chain
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
Occasional travel (10%) may be required in support of the program and customer
Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
Preferred
College Degree or equivalent experience
Experience with F/A-18, F-15 or other military aircraft
Experience in utilizing Program Management Best Practices (PMBPs)
