Responsibilities
Own and lead the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) for cloud and software products, including governance, planning, testing, remediation, and continuous improvement
Act as Program Manager for business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives across product, engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations teams
Develop, maintain, and validate business continuity and disaster recovery plans, including tabletop exercises, technical tests, and full failover exercises
Assess, document, and manage business continuity risks, escalating issues and recommendations to senior leadership as needed
Design and implement incident response and continuity activation processes, leading organizational adoption and change
Define and track program KPIs and success metrics, providing regular executive-level reporting on readiness, risk, and remediation status
Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure RTO/RPO alignment and resilience requirements are embedded into cloud platform operations
Support security, compliance, and certification audits related to business continuity and disaster recovery
Foster a culture of preparedness and resilience through training, awareness, and clear accountability
Qualification
Required
Proven experience leading a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) end to end
Strong background in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) for cloud, SaaS, or software products
Demonstrated program or project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives
Experience working closely with product and engineering teams in a technology environment
Ability to define KPIs, metrics, and executive dashboards, and communicate clearly with senior leadership
Hands-on experience conducting BIAs, RTO/RPO definition, and BC/DR testing
Strong risk assessment, escalation, and remediation skills
