Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on personal and professional computers and laptops
Clean and remove viruses, malware, and other cybersecurity threats from devices
Troubleshoot, repair, and set up printers and multi-functional devices
Install, configure, and set up new computers, laptops, and printers
Assist customers with email setup, troubleshooting, and operating system support
Provide networking solutions for homes and businesses, including router setup, Wi-Fi optimization, and connectivity troubleshooting
Install and troubleshoot security camera systems for residential and commercial clients
Offer guidance and recommendations to customers for hardware and software improvements or upgrades
Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with customers about issues, solutions, and timelines
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as an IT support specialist or similar role
Strong understanding of hardware, software, operating systems, and networking principles
Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues across Windows platforms (MacOS a bonus)
Experience with virus and malware removal tools and processes
Familiarity with networking setups, including routers, switches, and security cameras
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working directly with customers
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Preferred
A valid driver's license is preferred, as some on-site customer support may be required
