Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through referrals, networking, outbound prospecting, and marketing efforts
Conduct client needs assessments to understand operations, exposures, and coverage gaps
Prepare, present, and finalize proposals, quotes, and coverage recommendations
Close new business and meet established production goals
Participate in annual account reviews to ensure proper coverage and identify cross-sell opportunities
Serve as a point of contact for assigned clients, providing guidance on policies, coverage, and claims
Collaborate closely with Account Managers and CSRs to collect underwriting information and ensure timely submissions
Adhere to established submission timelines based on account size and complexity
Complete required monthly new business and renewal rewrite reports
Forward all client and underwriting correspondence to service staff for documentation in the agency management system
Maintain compliance with Tennessee insurance regulations, carrier guidelines, and agency procedures
Represent Boyle Insurance Agency professionally and positively within the community
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in insurance sales or business development
Active Tennessee insurance license or ability to obtain required licensing
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Goal-oriented with a sales-driven mindset and strong follow-through
Organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities
Knowledgeable in insurance coverages, markets, and risk management principles
Comfortable working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
Proficient with Microsoft Office and agency management systems
