Information Technology Technician
Colorado Credit Union is seeking an Information Technology Technician to provide maintenance and support for electronic equipment including computer hardware, software, and networking. The role involves troubleshooting, installing, and configuring systems while working under the supervision of the IT Manager.

Responsibilities
Serves as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance over the internal ticketing system, phone, email, or in person
Triages, resolves and escalates tickets as necessary to appropriate teams
Performs remote and in person troubleshooting, following established troubleshooting methodologies
Installs, configures, and upgrades workstation operating systems and software
Installs, assembles and configures computers, monitors, and peripherals such as printers, scanners, and related hardware
Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including but not limited to hardware, software, networking, security, and cloud; makes repairs and corrections where required
Provides help desk functions to facilitate exchange of information to business users, technical teams and Credit Union members; implements solutions or notifies outsource providers as required
Assists in instructing staff in the use of standard business and administrative software and hardware
Maintains current knowledge of hardware, software and network technology
Tracks all problems, requests and documents resolutions
Stays current with system information, changes, and updates

Performs other duties of a similar nature or level as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or higher in computer science, information technology or related degree program
One to four years of work experience in a technical support, hardware support or equivalent role is required
Strong troubleshooting skills
Ability to listen attentively to users questions, concerns and effectively communicate
Comfortable working independently and completing tasks within deadlines and SLA's
Follows established SOP's on known issues
Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills and critical thinking
Preferred
Current industry certifications such as A+, Net+, or Sec+
Credit Union experience
Working knowledge of TCP/IP
Expert Windows 11 support
Active Directory
Ticketing systems
Basic IP telephony principles
LAN/WAN connectivity support
Basic PowerShell scripting
AWS
Azure Microsoft 365 SaaS apps
Experience with the Symitar Platform
