Responsibilities
Clean, sanitize, and inspect equipment and production areas
Gather chemicals, tools, and utensils needed for cleaning
Assemble and disassemble equipment for sanitation
Rinse and clean conveyors, rollers, and hoppers with high‑pressure hoses
Clean drains in assigned zones
Sanitize tools and utensils
Remove water, grease, and debris
Perform housekeeping in common areas
Follow lockout/tagout procedures
Apply GMPs, plant safety, chemical handling, and MSDS practices
Support 5S and CPS
Work overtime or flex as production requires
Qualification
Required
1+ years of sanitation or related experience (ideal)
Knowledge of GMPs and safety (ideal)
Understanding of basic machine operations
Physical requirements: – Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and up to 50 lbs occasionally when positioning items
Push/pull negligible force consistently and up to 10 lbs frequently
