Responsibilities
Develop simulation models and virtual environments for the F-22 Pilot Training Avionics Simulation
Lead the design and architecture of software frameworks to enhance simulation performance
Partner with stakeholders to identify simulation requirements and system dynamics
Perform validation and verification of simulation code against real-world benchmarks and data
Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and participate in peer code reviews
Qualification
Required
Experience in software development using C++, C#, or Java within a Linux or Windows environment
Background in developing simulation models, virtual platforms, or avionics software systems
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine technical specifications and algorithms
Proficiency in documenting technical code, specifications, and simulation model descriptions
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for this role
