InternCooper University Health Care is dedicated to providing extraordinary health care and is seeking a summer intern in their IT department. The intern will assist with daily tasks and projects, gaining insight into hospital information technology operations while using various tools and applications.

Responsible for successfully completing daily tasks and/or projects as assigned
Will complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner while exhibiting the Cooper University Healthcare Core Value qualities
Must convey a positive attitude and be self-motivated
Must complete and present a brief final report on their key responsibilities and learning’s at final team meeting
Qualification
Required
Must be an undergraduate (junior or senior year) majoring in the area of interest or have completed relevant coursework
The candidate should be in technical academic majors such as Computer Science, Management Information System, or Health Information Management
The candidate should expect to use Epic EMR, work with data extracts, use MS365 tools and applications such as Teams
The candidate should be detail oriented and enjoy working in a team environment
Must convey a positive attitude and be self-motivated
Must complete and present a brief final report on their key responsibilities and learning's at final team meeting
Preferred
Some program assistant, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred
