Third Shift L1 Network Support Specialist
firstPRO, Inc is seeking a Third Shift L1 Network Support Specialist to join their Network Operations Center (NOC) team. This fully remote role focuses on monitoring network alerts, responding to incidents, and ensuring uptime and performance across the organization’s infrastructure during evening hours.
Responsibilities
Monitor network health and alerts using SolarWinds OpManager and other monitoring tools
Provide Level 1 network support, including initial troubleshooting and incident triage
Support Meraki-based network environments (switches, firewalls, wireless)
Open, document, and manage tickets according to NOC procedures
Escalate complex or unresolved issues to L2/L3 teams with clear documentation
Follow standard operating procedures and contribute to a stable off-hours support model
Qualification
Required
Experience in a NOC or Network Support role (L1 or similar)
Hands-on exposure to Cisco Meraki environments
Experience using SolarWinds OpManager or comparable monitoring tools
Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
Comfortable working independently during evening hours
Strong communication skills and attention to detail for ticketing and escalation
Must be in EST and comfortable working 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM EST (Monday–Friday)
