Handling litigation before courts and relevant administrative bodies
Conducting research, discovery, and motions practice
Regularly appearing in court
Assisting with contracts
Providing advice and risk analysis concerning the applicability of and compliance with all federal and state statutes, regulations, and contracts that may impact agency programs, policy operations or spending activities
Qualification
Required
Significant experience with all facets of litigation, from research, discovery, and motions practice to regularly appearing in court
Ability to handle a broad array of matters including assisting with contracts
Providing advice and risk analysis concerning the applicability of and compliance with all federal and state statutes, regulations, and contracts that may impact agency programs, policy operations or spending activities including the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing Livable Communities and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
Must live within a reasonable commutable distance to the organization's offices and courts and administrative agencies located in Western Massachusetts
