Responsibilities
Develop and expand business relationships with new and existing customers in the plastic and injection molding industry
Manage customer accounts and act as the primary point of contact for technical and commercial discussions
Understand customer product requirements, applications, and production challenges
Provide technical support and product recommendations related to injection molding processes, materials, and tooling
Prepare and present technical-commercial proposals and quotations
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with customers
Work closely with internal engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Identify new sales opportunities and develop strategic sales initiatives
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the plastics industry
Ensure timely follow-up, order management, and post-sales support
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Plastics, Polymer, or related field) or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or business development
Strong background in the plastic manufacturing industry, specifically injection molding
Solid understanding of injection molding processes
Solid understanding of plastic materials and resins
Solid understanding of tooling and mold concepts
Solid understanding of production cycles and quality considerations
Proven experience handling injection molding customer accounts and sales
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build rapport with customers and maintain long-term relationships
