Technical Instructional Designer

The Senior Learning Developer will design and develop cutting-edge learning experiences for employees, customers, and partners, collaborating with subject matter experts to create engaging training materials that meet diverse needs.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with subject matter experts to assess learning needs and define clear objectives for training programs
Design and develop innovative learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, videos, job aids, and assessments
Apply instructional design principles and best practices to create effective and engaging learning experiences
Work closely with multimedia specialists, trainers and other team members to produce high-quality multimedia training content
Conduct thorough needs assessments, task analyses, and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training initiatives
Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in instructional design and adult learning theory to continuously enhance our training offerings
May act as a team lead in delivering content for Duck Creek Products
Perform other job-related duties assigned to you that relate to the successful creation of learning assets
Qualification
Required
2+ years of creating learning assets leveraging modern e-learning tools such as Articulate, storyline and Adobe Captivate
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field (master's degree preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven experience in instructional design and development, preferably in a corporate or technology-driven environment
Deep understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and learning technologies
Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS)
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a passion for learning and professional development
Experience working in a technology organization to support new and existing product launches and enhancements
Proven track record of managing multiple projects with success in delivering learning assets on time
Strong Presentation and communication skills
