Information Technology Technical Support
Ventures Unlimited Inc is seeking an experienced IT Technical Support Specialist to oversee IT systems and ensure smooth day-to-day technology operations. The candidate will provide technical assistance, support system upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and train staff as needed.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and support workstation software, hardware, printers, and phones
Maintain IT operations: operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email, laptops, and desktops
Troubleshoot technical issues on desktops, laptops, and Surface Pros
Provide support for MS Office 365, VPN, Adobe, McAfee, LogMeIn, and encryption tools
Analyze staff IT needs, identify system vulnerabilities, and ensure efficiency
Execute systems and network design, documentation, testing, and administration
Implement applications/software upgrades and resolve performance issues
Train employees on software and hardware usage
Support Active Directory domain environment and troubleshoot network issues from the command line
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License or similar documentation required
Hands-on expertise in computer hardware, software, and networking
Strong problem-solving skills to improve business processes and employee productivity

Experienced in troubleshoot issues on end user computing devices, including desktops, laptops, and Surface Pros
Active Directory domain environment
Proficient at software installs and troubleshooting
Some networking knowledge, along with the ability to troubleshoot network issues from the command line
