Responsibilities
Manage diverse litigation cases from intake through resolution
Own deadlines, strategy, and case progression
Analyze title work and factual records to inform litigation strategy
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
Prepare for and conduct depositions and trials
Appear in court as needed
Communicate clearly and consistently with clients
Prepare correspondence with courts, clients, and opposing counsel
Assist with real estate transactions as needed
Maintain strict confidentiality
Qualification
Required
Active Kansas and Missouri bar licenses required
Ideally at least 5 years of private practice experience but seasoned litigators are encouraged to apply
Trial experience
No book of business required
