They are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to design and develop backend services, APIs, and infrastructure, collaborating closely with product managers and designers to enhance system performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure backend systems, services, and APIs using Golang
Build and optimize data storage solutions including relational databases, NoSQL systems, and caching technologies
Architect and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS
Develop and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs to support product functionality and integrations
Ensure high-quality code delivery through testing, documentation, and code reviews
Debug complex production issues and deliver reliable, long-term solutions
Contribute to system architecture decisions and backend best practices
Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability as the platform grows
Stay current with backend, cloud, and distributed systems best practices
Support continuous improvement of development processes and tooling

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of backend software engineering experience
Strong proficiency in Golang and building production-grade backend services
Deep experience with AWS and cloud-native architecture
Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases and performance optimization
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred

Experience in healthcare or fintech is a plus!
