Responsibilities

Support the sales team by providing technical assistance to U.S. customers throughout the sales and deployment lifecycle
Engage with customers to understand application needs and help translate requirements into metalens-based optical solutions
Assist in preparing and delivering technical presentations, product demos, and on-site or virtual meetings
Provide customer technical support, including troubleshooting, application guidance, and issue escalation to internal teams
Coordinate with research partners, universities, and external labs on joint projects, evaluations, and technical collaborations
Collaborate closely with R&D, product, and operations teams to ensure timely and effective customer solutions
Collect customer feedback and contribute to continuous product and solution improvement
Maintain clear documentation of customer interactions, requirements, and support activities

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree (or recent graduate) in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Photonics, or a related field
Strong interest in customer-facing technical roles, including sales engineering, applications engineering, or technical support
Basic understanding of optical systems, photonics, or imaging technologies
Ability to interact professionally with customers, research partners, and academic labs
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to learn and apply new technical concepts quickly
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to explain technical topics clearly
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, global team environment
Willingness to work on-site in the Silicon Valley / San Francisco Bay Area and support U.S.-based customers
