The Regional Revenue Manager is responsible for identifying and maximizing potential revenue opportunities for the hotels by formulating strategies and overseeing their execution to advance RevPAR.

Responsibilities
Establish pricing levels in all segments for assigned hotels
Manage daily room inventory
Monitor competitor rates, positioning, strategies and data
Maintain understanding of the dynamics of the local market and demand generators and present appropriate action plans to management
Analyze local events and activities and project the effect of opportunities they create
Monitor and communicate fluctuations in occupancy to operational departments in order to effectively manage staffing requirements
Perform unconstrained demand analysis to determine optimal business mix
Prepare short- and long-term forecasts including Weekly Forecasts, 30 60 90 Forecasts, and Full-Year Forecasts
Oversee process for evaluating all opportunities for contracted business (group, wholesale, corporate negotiated, etc.) presented through the Sales department. Ensure that process enables high speed of response while maximizing profits
Qualification
Required
Understanding of channel and yield management
Experience in formulating long- and short-term strategies
Ability to analyze revenue potential generated by transient and group market segments
Experience in optimizing market mix, catering and space utilization
Ability to establish pricing levels in all segments for assigned hotels
Experience in managing daily room inventory
Ability to monitor competitor rates, positioning, strategies and data
Understanding of the dynamics of the local market and demand generators
Ability to analyze local events and activities and project their effects
Experience in monitoring and communicating fluctuations in occupancy
Ability to perform unconstrained demand analysis
Experience in preparing short- and long-term forecasts including Weekly Forecasts, 30 60 90 Forecasts, and Full-Year Forecasts
