Responsibilities
Full cycle billing including claim creation, submission, and follow-up for professional claims
Navigate the nuances of billing across multiple states, ensuring compliance with varying payer rules and state mandates
Handle billing for multiple types of services and ability to learn more quickly
Aggressively work denials, rejections, and appeals to ensure maximum and timely reimbursement
Accurately post insurance and patient payments as well as identifying and resolving credit balances or overpayments
Partner with the Director of RCM to identify bottlenecks and suggest workflows that improve team efficiency as we scale
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3+ years of full scope billing experience
Proven track record with professional claims
Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and deep understanding of clearinghouses
Understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding
Comfortable working in a ‘build-out' environment where processes are being established in real time
Preferred
Experience billing multiple state is highly preferred
