Responsibilities
Coordinates production schedules to define scheduling requirements as necessary to meet customer needs. Ensures work order requirements are met for production reporting needs as well as shop floor scheduling and control needs. Coordinates rapid response requirements for appropriate product lines. (occupies approximately 45% of the time on the job)
Assists in controlling inventory as needed to fulfill incoming orders. May order packaging materials. Codes and processes orders by recording all job tickets with scheduling data, standards, tolerances, yardage and special instructions and samples. Accommodates special requests and priorities. (occupies approximately 30% of the time on the job)
Coordinates daily work load with crew members to ensure daily work orders and demand requirements are completed. Delivers daily plan and orders to appropriate personnel (occupies approximately 20% of the time on the job)
Performs other duties as assigned (occupies approximately 5% of the time on the job)
Qualification
Required
Coordinates production schedules to define scheduling requirements as necessary to meet customer needs

Ability to work possible 2nd or 3rd shift, depending on shift availability
Between 1 and 2 years of related job experience are generally required
At an intermediate level of proficiency, the employee works on assignments of standardized difficulty
The employee primarily uses coordinating skills to perform such duties as coordinating schedules, collecting and distributing standard reports, and placing supply orders
