Responsibilities

Manage/ Lead global NPIs, ToW and outsourcing projects, products and technology to secure Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
Own component introduction/ implementation/ qualification… from design and manufacturability through stable production (industrialization)
Serve as an NPI Project Manager in a highly cross-functional environment with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, product management at Gas Power Level (Incl. Steam, Generator, Gas and Repairs)
Improve and standardize the way of working within the team through the application of Lean methodology
Ensure the proper team is engaged in the Iterations from concept through final design with cross functional teams to ensure balance of producibility and cost
Be responsible for on time and on budget delivery of NPIs and strategic projects for both new units and services
Serve as a technical process owner for complex problems across a diverse supply chain partnering with stakeholders to solve business critical issues at Gas Power Level
Drive new technology and advanced manufacturing techniques that relate to Steam Turbines & Generator components
Manage and communicate design change risks and impacts prior to implementation

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of engineering/manufacturing/sourcing experience

Proven ability to work horizontally across GE and build / maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
Cross functional experience – able to motivate team effectively, facilitate collaboration, and influence a solutions-oriented culture
Demonstrated ability to manufacture or engineer out cost/cycle and improve product quality/performance
Demonstrated ability to take vague problem, identify action plan, and partner with stakeholders to achieve goals
Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion under tight deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Technical knowledge and experience in Steam Turbines/ Generators
Strong project management skills and detail-orientation
Six Sigma training or equivalent quality training
Proficient in Microsoft products
