Responsibilities
Provide specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, cloud service provider selection (including SLA authorship, development, assessment)
Implement application and data migration techniques and tools for the most efficient and simple solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity and security requirements
Research, evaluate, and recommend new security tools, techniques, and technologies and introduce them to the enterprise in alignment with IT security strategy
Utilize COTS/GOTS and custom tools to scan, identify, contain, mitigate, and remediate vulnerabilities and intrusions of physical security and cybersecurity systems, processes, etc
Apply a combination of expert engineering knowledge of enterprise IT and security solutions to design, develop and/or implement solutions to ensure they are consistent with enterprise architecture security policies and support full spectrum military cyberspace operations
Write reports specifying in technical detail how assessments were performed and what mitigating and remediating activities were performed
Translate and/or author technical documentation in a way which is easily understood, in layman's terms, the work being performed and the outcome of the work being performed
Participate with senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives
Qualification
Required
Secret clearance or above
Bachelor's Degree in IT or Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work-related experience
Fourteen (14) or more years' experience; at least five (5) in Cybersecurity
Preferred
Worked in Cybersecurity with government agencies
