Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end design, development, and optimization of SQL Server databases
Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot complex Stored Procedures, functions, views, and scripts
Drive performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization for high volume workloads
Collaborate with business, BI, and application teams to deliver scalable data solutions
Work closely with the Power BI team to support data models, datasets, and reporting pipelines
Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and best practices across the database team
Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, and production support
Coordinate with Azure/Cloud teams to design and deploy database workloads into Azure environments
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience as a MSBI Lead or Database Developer or SQL Developer
Strong expertise in SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, database design, indexing, performance tuning)
Experience supporting or building data models for Power BI
Familiarity with Azure data components (Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure VM/MI, etc.)
Solid understanding of SDLC processes, release cycles, and production support
Proven experience mentoring or leading small technical teams
