They are seeking a Local Purchasing & Procurement Specialist to support purchasing operations, inventory control, and new product development, particularly for locally sourced and processed food items.

Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day purchasing operations related to food distribution and new product development
Issue, track, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) with vendors
Monitor inventory levels and manage inbound/outbound inventory records to support replenishment and availability
Support the development of new products, including locally processed meat and food items
Prepare new product documentation, monthly closing reports, and other purchasing-related reports
Coordinate with internal teams (warehouse, fulfillment, operations) to ensure purchasing accuracy and timely execution
Support warehouse fulfillment operations as needed during peak periods
Assist with QC food preparation, product testing, and sampling when required
Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation for operational and audit purposes
Perform other general purchasing and operations-related duties as assigned
Occasional lifting of 30–50 lbs may be required
Qualification
Required
Strong interest in food distribution, purchasing, and product development
Creative, detail-oriented, and reliable with a strong sense of ownership
Proficient with computers, including Excel, Google Workspace, and internal systems
Bilingual in English and Korean (required)
Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
Experience in food distribution, purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain operations
Experience working with perishable, refrigerated, or frozen products
Prior exposure to warehouse or fulfillment operations
