Senior Executive Assistant to Chief Development Officer and President of Intermountain Foundation

The Senior Executive Assistant will support the Chief Development Officer and President in managing fundraising initiatives, community engagement, and operational tasks to ensure the success of various programs and events.

Philanthropic Fundraising Services

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies, systems, annual campaigns, and other fundraising program plans for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, and soliciting current and prospective donors
Manage a comprehensive prospect management system and ensures data integrity
Help with the logistics, invitations, fundraising and programming for the annual gala
Work with local and regional businesses to develop partnerships
Manage volunteers in a way that is inclusive, flexible, fair-minded, and engaging. Leads fundraising meetings to maximize special event efforts
Design, compile data, write and deliver (in print and digital format) complete annual report
Manage impact metrics and reporting for all Transcend International programming
Oversee all necessary and ongoing updates to the websites and internal documents
Manage social media platforms and engagement for Transcend International in collaboration with the Marketing Director
Develop a competitive email communications strategy for Transcend International including a monthly newsletter, donor communications, and event communications
Expand brand awareness for Transcend through blogs, interviews, Transcending Conversations Podcast, and the presentation of thought leadership pieces in innovative ways
Propose additional ideas for donor engagement and stewardship, community engagement, thought leadership and impact storytelling
Project management of grants and programs. Make sure that projects are on task, deliverables are received, invoices are paid, and impact data is gathered. Also, help with scheduling meetings with potential partners, board members, and check-ins with current grantees
Draft a grant application template for Transcend and review with Director
Meet weekly with Director and Stena Group Marketing Director to report progress and approve any relevant materials
Travel as needed for programming, communications assets, meetings, and conferences or educational opportunities
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of three (3) years fundraising or non-profit experience, specifically
Knowledge of non-profit operations, characteristics, services, and activities
Knowledge of principles and best practices of program development for non-profit and fundraising purposes
Knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel.)
Knowledge of donor database systems and prospect software programs (i.e., Salesforce, Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge database system)
Experience in developing creative fundraising concepts
Experience in working with foundation boards and/or other types of nonprofit boards
Experience in leveraging online networking platforms used by professionals (i.e., LinkedIn) to increase connections and engagement opportunities
Experience with managing volunteers
Strong marketing and public relations experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures
Strong organizational and event management skills
Knowledge of social media and web analytics
Solid understanding of research techniques
