Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and review for the processing of court documents
Independently evaluate information and make recommendations or decisions based on the accuracy of research data and its compliance with relevant laws
Review, analyze, and process confidential legal documents such as court-ordered expungements, limited access orders, and full or conditional pardons related to criminal history record information within the Commonwealth
Handle incoming mail, answer the main phone line, and respond to voicemails as appropriate
Qualification
Required
One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training
You must be willing to work onsite full-time. Teleworking is not an option as part of this position's work schedule
You must possess two years of professional computer experience, to include experience with the Microsoft series
You must possess six months of experience with the review or processing of legal documents and criminal records
You must obtain active Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network (CLEAN) certification issued by the Pennsylvania State Police within the probationary period and maintain this certification for the duration of employment in this position
You must be able to perform essential job functions
You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements
