Responsibilities
Lead or assist in conducting collateral field exams following established protocols
Assess the quality and quantity of collateral supporting asset-based revolving lines of credit, focusing primarily on accounts receivable and inventory.
Engage with borrowers and all levels of management, including bookkeepers, accountants, warehouse managers, CFOs, CEOs, and business owners
Utilize various Excel-based workpaper templates, including our proprietary and lender-specific formats, to document findings
Prepare comprehensive written reports summarizing exam results and recommendations
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical abilities, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills, are essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
Preferred
A degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent professional experience, is preferred
While 1-2 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or collateral examination experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory
