Design high-quality, real-world climate analysis problems to support training and evaluation of frontier AI systems
Develop multi-step tasks involving environmental data discovery, extraction, and analysis across public data portals
Craft climate and geophysical workflows requiring navigation of government and scientific databases
Create detailed evaluation rubrics to assess AI reasoning, data interpretation, and analytical performance
Apply climate science and data analysis expertise to ensure scientific accuracy and real-world relevance
Collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team of research and domain experts
Qualification
Required
PhD in Climate Science, Earth Science, Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, Geophysics, or a related field from a top institution
Professional research experience in climate science, environmental monitoring, or geophysical data analysis
Familiarity with environmental and climate databases such as NOAA, EPA, EIA, USGS, or NASA Earth Data
Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical reasoning skills
Excellent written and verbal communication with high English proficiency
Comfortable working independently in a remote, project-based environment
