Electrical Systems Engineer (Associate, Experienced or Senior)

Responsibilities
Provide technical, design and documentation support for production aircraft, in-service aircraft, or material support issues
Troubleshoot system problems consistent with operational protocols
Support, create, and provide technical documentation (e.g. Fleet Team Digest articles, Service Letters, Drawings, Specifications, Service Bulletins, Maintenance Manuals)
Ensure technical compliance to regulations by reviewing documentation, participating in design reviews, and observing product testing
Assist with the investigation of Safety Related Problems to provide interim actions and final engineering solutions
Support and/or lead the research of technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer
Work with cross-functional teams to conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances
Assist in the development of customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment
Evaluate complex system event reports to determine potential safety issues
Travel to airline customer meetings and lead presentations that address top technical concerns, with travel not exceeding 10%
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
2 or more years' of experience in engineering
Preferred
9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
4 or more years' experience of engineering, preferably in the aviation industry
Proficiency in Electromagnetic Effects (EME) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)
Experience in electrical equipment installation and wire routing design
Familiarity with design tools such as ENOVIA, CATIA V5, WIRS, PDM, and IVT is beneficial
A willingness to expand into technical areas where prior experience may be lacking
