Manager, HR Operations
Axonic Insurance is seeking a Manager, HR Operations to support the execution and scalability of its growing people function. This hands-on role focuses on operational excellence across HR processes, systems, and compliance, while also supporting recruiting logistics and employee onboarding workflows.
Responsibilities
Manage job postings and recruiting workflows across platforms
Coordinate interview scheduling and logistics with internal interview teams
Support the implementation and administration of applicant tracking system
Administer offer processes and background checks for new hires
Own onboarding communications, forms, and onboarding checklists
Coordinate new hire setup with IT and internal partners
Support ongoing optimization of onboarding processes and employee experience
Serve as a resource for employees with benefits and general HR process questions
Support leave administration, offboarding, and related processes
Support compliance activities, including documentation management, EEO tracking, and coordination of required filings
Administer and optimize HR systems including HRIS, performance tools, and time tracking for non-exempt employees
Oversee HR data integrity, reporting, and updates related to employee changes and organizational updates
Identify opportunities to improve HR workflows for efficiency, consistency, and scalability
Coordinate training logistics, including registration, vendor coordination, attendance tracking, and evaluation
Assist with maintenance of HR policies and the online employee handbook
Partner with the HR Director on special projects, audits, and due diligence requests as needed
Qualification
Required
5–8+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong operations focus
Comfort operating in a hands-on role with both execution and process improvement responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to support HR processes, systems, and compliance in a growing organization
Direct responsibility for administering an HRIS (preferably ADP), including employee data maintenance, reporting, and workflow management
Hands-on involvement in pre-boarding and onboarding processes, including facilitation of new hire orientation
Familiarity with EEO data tracking and compliance reporting requirements
Background implementing or administering time tracking for non-exempt employees and supporting overtime compliance
Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Clear, practical communicator with a service-oriented approach
