Responsibilities
Support the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G8) for the Programming phase of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process
Coordinate with the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) on proposed programming and process recommendations related to ongoing and future acquisition programs and science and technology initiatives
Coordinate with Army Futures Command (AFC) for program funding for future force materiel modernization enterprise
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in operations research, applied mathematics, statistics, engineering (Systems or Industrial), or computer science
Minimum of five (5) years ORSA experience
Demonstrates expert analytical and quantitative skills in applying operations research methods to support Army resource allocation, capability development, and modernization analysis
Proficient in developing and employing models, simulations, and statistical tools to assess performance, cost, and risk across SPAR, POM, and AROC/JROC processes
Skilled in translating complex analytical results into clear, data-driven insights and recommendations that inform senior leader decisions within the DCS G-8 mission space
