Junior Security Analyst

They are seeking a Junior Security Analyst to monitor network activity for threats, provide technical knowledge of information security standards, and solve complex technical problems.

Responsibilities
Provides technical knowledge and analysis of information security standards and guidelines
Monitors network activity for threats and ensure data is protected from unauthorized users
Solves complex technical problems and conducts detailed security event analysis
Identify threats and advanced knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, disaster recovery operations and security best practices
Qualification
Required
Security-cleared Professional: You are able to obtain and maintain a government issued public trust clearance
Experience analyzing security standards and guidelines
Has experience with threat monitoring and data protection
Has experience handling security events and reporting
Familiar with network protocols, firewalls, disaster recovery and security best practices
Has worked with security tools such as Splunk, Tenable, Cyberark, or similar
Either a Security + CE, CASP, CISSP, GCIA, CISM, CISA or another certification that is the equivalent
Preferred
A Bachelor's Degree or an Associate's degree in a related field is preferred with 1-3 years of experience
