HR Representative
A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. is seeking a Human Resource Representative to manage the daily functions of the HR department. The role involves hiring, interviewing, administering pay and benefits, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.

Responsibilities
Assists with the administration of compensation and benefit plans
Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
Schedule, administer, and execute new co-worker orientation and onboarding
Assist HR Manager and training department with training initiatives, to include, but not limited to scheduling, conducting, coordinating, ensuring compliance with training initiatives
Provide support to co-workers in various HR-related topics such as leave of absence (LOA) and disability coordination. Work with payroll to accurately compensate our co-workers on LOA
Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
Manage annual performance management process under the direction of HR Manager. Ensure compliance amongst management for both quarterly and annual performance
Assist Talent Acquisition Specialist in gathering and analyzing data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
Maintain co-worker files and records in electronic and paper form
Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, advocating for proper use of perks and benefits and assisting in organizing team building activities
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
Other duties as directed by management
Qualification
Required
Experience in administering compensation and benefit plans
Experience in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
Ability to schedule, administer, and execute new co-worker orientation and onboarding
