Chief Operating Officer
Naked & Thriving is a fast-growing, founder-led direct-to-consumer skincare brand creating clean, effective, plant-based products backed by science. They are seeking a Chief Operating Officer to optimize their operating backbone, integrate people and systems, and drive operational excellence while maintaining entrepreneurial speed.

Responsibilities
Translate long-term company goals into clear operating plans, priorities, KPIs, and decision-making frameworks
Develop and lead a unified operating model that connects Brand, Creative, Performance Marketing, Data, Operations, and Finance under shared accountability
Drive the shift toward data-driven planning and forecasting across the business
Partner with the CEO and Finance to link investment strategy, funnel metrics, and performance outcomes
Serve as the enterprise-wide integrator ensuring cross-functional clarity, alignment, and follow-through
Engineer a scalable and predictable operating backbone across supply chain, fulfillment, inventory, digital operations, finance, and eCommerce systems
Create cross-functional workflows that connect creative, marketing, and data pipelines to forecasting, demand planning, and strategic prioritization
Institutionalize repeatable processes that improve throughput, speed, margin, and efficiency
Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks to support profitable and sustainable growth
Ensure end-to-end operational excellence across both digital and physical customer journeys
Oversee Digital Operations, ensuring all technology, data, and eCommerce systems are integrated, reliable, and optimized for scale
Unify data flows across Shopify, GA4, Klaviyo, paid media channels, financial tools, BigQuery, DBT, and other data modeling environments
Implement real-time dashboards, forecasting models, and executive reporting tools that support proactive decision-making
Lead the maturation of the full digital commerce ecosystem including conversion, retention, analytics, customer experience operations, Martech, and lifecycle insights
Strengthen the digital experience from acquisition through retention, ensuring operational capabilities support creative and performance strategy
Evolve and lead the Project Management Office to institutionalize cross-functional execution discipline
Establish enterprise-wide prioritization, clear ownership, predictable timelines, and measurable outcomes
Build quarterly and annual planning cycles that drive focus, alignment, and throughput
Ensure every initiative has defined goals, governance, and operating rhythm
Assess and refine organizational structure, roles, and decision rights to support scale and clarity
Build and develop high-performing teams with strong accountability and leadership capability
Partner with HR to evolve performance management, leadership development, and cultural frameworks that reinforce data-driven behaviors
Cultivate a culture of clarity, transparency, and operational rigor
Oversee post-purchase experience and customer service as strategic drivers of loyalty and advocacy
Ensure a consistent and responsive brand experience across all touchpoints and channels
Leverage customer insights, service data, and lifecycle analytics to strengthen satisfaction, reduce churn, and improve lifetime value
Partner with internal and external technology leaders to evaluate, select, and optimize Martech, data, analytics, and commerce infrastructure
Ensure systems and platforms support both creative flexibility and analytical rigor
Oversee vendor relationships to maximize integration, value, and performance
Establish governance practices for vendor management, contracts, decision rights, and data stewardship
Ensure operational compliance with financial controls, contractual requirements, and data privacy standards
Partner with the CFO to proactively assess and mitigate operational and compliance risks
Qualification
Required
10+ years of senior operational leadership experience (COO, SVP, or VP Operations) in high-growth DTC or eCommerce environments
Proven ability to bring structure, maturity, and scalable systems to founder-led organizations while preserving entrepreneurial speed and creativity
Deep understanding of eCommerce operations, digital systems, supply chain, forecasting, and performance marketing dynamics
Strong analytical rigor with demonstrated experience building KPI frameworks, dashboards, and forecasting models
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives integrating marketing, data, product, finance, and operations
Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with a low-ego, high-accountability approach
Preferred
Beauty, skincare, or wellness category experience is a strong plus
