Responsibilities

Work independently on designing electrical systems
Specify the components needed and create a comprehensive BOM for ordering
Create layout and schematic drawings in AutoCAD
Work hand-in-hand with the in-house 508A panel shop to ensure the build is completed smoothly
Program PLCs, Drives, and HMIs, both in-house and at customer sites

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or related field
Experience with schematic design software, AutoCAD
Field experience with commissioning and starting up PLC-based control systems
Excellent technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage project hours, schedules, and interface with customers
Some travel is required to fulfill these responsibilities

Preferred

Communications protocols with: AB Ethernet I/P, Devicenet, Bacnet
HMI programming skills with software such as: AB FactoryTalk, and ViewSE
Servo & VFD Drive Controls: AB, Control Techniques, ABB
PLC programming on: AB, Siemens, Idec
