Vice President of Finance
CFS is seeking a strategic Vice President of Finance to lead the financial strategy of their aggressively growing organization. The role involves overseeing operational excellence and providing executive-level guidance across key business functions, while supervising the accounting, finance, and IT teams to ensure high performance and alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the accounting, finance, and IT departments
Drive financial strategy, budgeting, and long-range planning as the Vice President of Finance
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
Develop and enhance financial controls, policies, and procedures
Provide executive-level financial insights to support strategic decision-making
Partner with senior leadership on capital planning, forecasting, and risk management
Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory standards, and audit requirements
Guide the implementation and optimization of financial systems and technology
Support mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic initiatives
Mentor and develop team leaders within accounting, finance, and IT
Qualification
Required
Proven experience serving as a Vice President of Finance or senior financial executive
Demonstrated leadership overseeing accounting, finance, and IT organizations
Strong technical background in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Deep understanding of GAAP, compliance, and internal controls
Exceptional communication, executive presence, and cross-functional partnership skills
Ability to lead both high-level strategy and hands-on financial execution
Preferred
Prior tenure as leader of IT, accounting, and finance teams within a growth-oriented or mid-market company
Experience driving system implementations and financial technology improvements
Background supporting M&A, integrations, or complex financial transactions
Track record of building scalable financial processes as a Vice President of Finance
