They are currently seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for a client in the financial industry, responsible for establishing partnerships with development teams and ensuring proper tooling and practices are in place for service delivery.

Responsibilities
Establish and maintain partnerships with Application Development and Production Support teams to implement the measures prescribed through the collaboration of the Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and the SRE team(s) they are leading
Ensure the appropriate instrumentation, tooling, ticketing, alerting and on-call routines are in place for key services
Advocate and advance more efficient solution delivery practices and evangelize great design, engineering and organizational practices
Qualification
Required
BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving systems or equivalent practical experience
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Terraform Enterprise, Ansible Automation, Cloud
Terraform Enterprise, JAVA, HashiCorp Consul, AWS, Azure, OpenShift
Demonstrates a high level of technical expertise within one or more technical domains
Demonstrates the ability to decompose issues or objectives into units of work that can be assigned to other team members
Automation, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, Camunda, Python, Consul, Cloud
Experience with Python, Ansible, Golang, and shell scripting
Strong experience in major services related to Compute, Storage, Network and Security
Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Dynatrace, as well as cloud native tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
Strong understanding and background of working with a complex infrastructure, including RHEL and Windows Servers, OpenShift containers, Terraform, Azure and AWS virtual resources
Experience with CI/CD tools git/Jenkins, GitOps model
Excellent understanding of Linux /Windows operating systems administration
Experience in Jira, Remedy and other workload management tools
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication (written, verbal, and presentation) skills
