Responsibilities

Supervise, coach, and develop Collections team members. Set performance goals, monitor progress, and foster a collaborative and high-performing environment
Oversee collection efforts for all customer accounts; ensure timely follow-up on past-due invoices
Partner with Sales and Customer Service to resolve billing disputes and prevent payment delays
Review customer credit limits and escalate high-risk accounts
Monitor aging reports, DSO, and collection effectiveness; provide insights to Senior Manager
Ensure adherence to SOX controls and company policies. Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance automation, and improve efficiency within Collections processes, leveraging GBS best practices
Prepare collections-related reports, assist with month-end close activities, and provide insights to support decision-making
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Manager

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field
Minimum 5-7 years of collections experience
Minimum 3 years of experience managing or supervising collections staff
Strong understanding of O2C processes and best practices
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to analyze aging reports and identify risk trends
Knowledge of credit risk management and compliance requirements
Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced Global Business Services environment
Problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement

Preferred

Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics)
