Manager of Alumni Engagement & Programs
Talent Market is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting liberty by helping free-market nonprofits identify talent for critical roles. The Manager of Alumni Engagement & Programs is responsible for planning and executing TFAS’s alumni engagement strategy across various initiatives, managing a broad portfolio of alumni-facing programs, and coordinating with multiple departments to enhance alumni relations and community building.

Responsibilities
Lead alumni volunteer programs, including recruiting and supporting volunteers who engage with prospective, admitted and participating students
Manage our online mentoring program, tracking growth, engagement and targeted marketing efforts
Coordinate educational programs for alumni, including reading groups and seminars
Support the Alumni Engagement Committee, and over time, help explore and build alumni chapters in key markets to deepen regional engagement and leadership opportunities
Represent TFAS at recruitment events, conferences and campus visits during the fall
Plan regular alumni events, including networking events, guest speakers and social activities
Manage event promotion, production, logistics and vendors
Serve as on-site lead for D.C.–based events and select regional gatherings around the country
Produce the alumni newsletter, from planning and drafting through design, editing, scheduling and performance tracking
Maintain a year-round alumni communications calendar aligned with organizational priorities across departments
Track and curate alumni achievements and updates for use across email, social media, web and events
Work with the development communications team on alumni fundraising, including strategies, stewardship, campaigns and alumni giving day
Contribute to alumni-related content for all social media channels, including managing regular alumni content on LinkedIn
Keep alumni web pages current and aligned with branding and accessibility standards
Maintain alumni records in the CRM and track engagement across programs and campaigns
Produce concise internal reports to inform planning and decision-making
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
3–5 years of experience in alumni relations, engagement, communications, events or a related field
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities
Excellent written communication skills, with experience drafting professional emails, web copy and promotional materials
Experience coordinating events or programs from planning through execution
Comfort working with databases/CRMs, email platforms and basic analytics
High attention to detail and follow-through
